Energy really is our first language.
Think of a mother and a new born baby, the baby has no clue about framing coherent sentences based on common languages, yet the mother has an innate knowing about the baby's needs. Its because as a new mother the woman experiences a profound awakening of the heart centre, where protectiveness and sense of a deep connection with the baby arises. As a women steps into motherhood she naturally opens up many energetic channels (nadis) in her body which enhance the intuition and deepen emotional maturity.
After all why do you think postpartum depression is so common ? it's simply because women are unaware of the significant shifts and energetic tweaking that follows motherhood.
Similarly when we enter a meditative state to open our heart centre, we start to tap into and strengthen our other sensory functions apart from just the five physical senses that we are aware of.
Circling back to the fact that we are energy beings, our energetic touch points manifest in the form of extra-sensory functions like :-
- Clairaudience - enhanced ability to sense auditory stimulus
- Clairvoyance- is the ability to see deeply beyond normal perception, in the form of images, symbols or even in dreams
- Clairsentience - The ability to feel and tune into other people's emotions and feelings/ feeling out the energy of places and even situations
- Claircognizance - The immediate knowing or gut instinct that kicks in related to a situation/ person/ or place
- Clairailence - The ability to smell and recieve information through the nose which means smelling things that are not there.
- Clairgustance- The ability to taste heightened flavours
These are the tools that we exercise to communicate with other beings where verbal communication is not possible.
Another important keyword that comnes to play is "Telepathy" which is similar to transmission of knowlegde without a physical medium.
Although all of these modes of recieving information are very cerebral in nature and require mental steadiness it is important to realise that working on the mind won't yield results if you completely forget to check in with the heart!
